Reservoir Filter Screen for Silicone Hose, a redesigned version from the previous style, which is no longer available.
This screen attaches to the inlet silicone hose to prevent solid matter from entering water lines, and it is mounted inside the hose opening.
Fits: Any home unit with a reservoir and soft silicone hose size 9x6mm and 8x5mm. The hose fits on the OUTSIDE of the black sleeve. (Smaller hose diameters may require a dab of NSF Grease to ease installation, or you might soak the tip of the silicone hose in hot water).
NOTE: This is not a softener. A reservoir water softener is a better choice, although this filter can be used if you already have an independent softener system.
