NOTE: With the head, a gauge, and the room necessary to easily remove the cartridge you will need a total height of 2 feet.

This cartridge will not fit the older style head

Please note: A softener will slow down the buildup of minerals/scale, but it will not completely remove them, so you will still need to descale.
The frequency depends on how often you use your machine and the minerals in your raw water.
The frequency of cartridge replacement or resin regeneration will also affect your softener’s efficiency.
