The Locking ring supplied by SAECO is no longer polished and frankly looks…...not very pretty.
This is another questionable decision by Saeco (such as their latest version of the pressurized portafilter) that would have been more palatable if they would have at least lowered the price… but they did not.
Fits: Starbucks Barista semi automatic and many other models of Saeco single stage boiler units.
NOTE: Before ordering, please note that this item is not returnable “just because” it is not as pretty as the polished version was.
NOTE: There are two black plastic “stoppers” inside the locking ring that stop your portafilter in the correct place (one is barely visible at “2:30” in the first image and more clearly in the second image. These stoppers are not sold separately. Each locking ring is inspected prior to shipment to confirm the stopper are complete and intact.
